Vanessa Morgan Shares the Sentimental Meaning Behind Her New Tattoo

Vanessa Morgan is the latest “Riverdale” actor to add to her tattoo collection. Just a few months after Camila Mendes visited tattoo artist Kiju to get a large portrait of a whimsical fairy on her upper back, costar Morgan made the same visit to get her own ink. The tattoo, which is on her left wrist and features an overlapping sun-and-moon design, has a special meaning for Morgan.
“A moon to represent the phases of life, that bring growth and expands one’s light (the sun),” she wrote in the caption of her Instagram stories. “A sun that keeps growing with the light of love. Placed beside my ‘river,’ my real life sun, moon, and stars.”
The design is the latest of Morgan’s tattoos, which include the previous ink she got with “Riverdale” costar Lili Reinhart: a fine-line script tattoo of her son’s name (River). Morgan also joins the long list of celebrities who have gotten new tattoos this year, including Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, and Romeo Beckham.
