Megan Thee Stallion showed off her new cherry-red waves by the poolside on Wednesday, and it’s all the proof we need that Hot Girl Summer is on its way. In an Instagram post shared on March 8, the “Body” singer lounges by the pool in a brown cover-up and black lingerie, a chic but subtle look that drew our attention straight to her new bright-red hair.
Stretching halfway down her back, Megan’s side-swept waves are so red that even Ariel from “The Little Mermaid” would be impressed. A closer inspection reveals that Stallion’s two-toned hair is actually layered with red on top and black underneath, so we’re absolutely adding the look to our spring beauty bucket lists. “My pretty baby girl ???,” Taraji P. Henson commented on the post before LaLa Anthony added, “Red [is] my fav color ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
Megan kept the sweet “cherry” theme rolling with a colorful kawaii manicure in cotton-candy shades, a glossy ombre lip, pink eyeshadow, and extra long lashes. The “Off the Leash” star’s new look comes just one month after she showed off her ’60s-style bob haircut. Stallion has worn countless colorful wigs and hairstyles in the last few weeks, so there’s no guarantee that the red is here to stay. But until the “Savage” singer switches it up again, we’ll be here admiring her new look from every angle.
