The column gown was the star of the evening during the 2022 Screen Actors Guild Awards, which featured red-carpet appearances from several of Hollywood’s most fashionable celebrities including Selena Gomez, Salma Hayek, Elle Fanning, Cynthia Erivo, and Mother Monster herself, Lady Gaga. Adorned in Y2K comeback-approved silks, sequins, and cut-outs, many of the glitterati opted for curve-hugging pieces rather than the fluffy ballgowns of yore.
