Cara Delevingne's New Rose Tattoo Is Identical to Selena Gomez's

Either we’re seeing double, or Cara Delevingne just got a matching tattoo with Selena Gomez. On Dec. 30, acclaimed celebrity tattoo parlor Bang Bang Tattoo shared a video on Instagram of Delevingne’s latest tattoo: a pink watercolor rose with black ink dripping down. The colorful design is located on the model’s rib cage, directly underneath her Roman numeral 12 side tattoo. Delevingne has a lot of tattoos – over 20 – but the reason this piece of ink is significant is it’s the exact same design that Gomez got earlier this month.
On Dec. 15, Bang Bang Tattoo posted a cryptic image of Gomez’s newest tattoo on her upper back. It wasn’t until Dec. 29 that the parlor disclosed exactly what the design was: a pink watercolor rose between her shoulder blades. (Sounds familiar, right?) While no photos have been shared thus far of the two stars together, we can only assume they got the rose tattoos during a joint session. “Matching for @caradelevingne,” read Bang Bang Tattoo’s Instagram caption, presumably written by parlor owner Keith Scott “Bang Bang” McCurdy. “I had so much fun making these tattoos- thanks for always trusting me Cara.”
Delevingne and Gomez are no strangers to matching tattoos with friends. Delevingne shares ink with Ashley Benson, Kaia Gerber, and Jourdan Dunn, while Gomez has identical designs with Julia Michaels, Tommy Dorfman, and Alisha Boe, to name a few. While we’re not entirely sure what the reason was behind these matching tattoos, Delevingne is set to join Gomez on season two of Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building.
